More facts
As you can tell by how much we link to them in our overview, we haven't found anything that beats the clear, nonpartisan (and thorough!) information from the Kaiser Family Foundation. They have two great fact sheets: one on the changes in the act, and one with background information on drug prices. They've also created a practical guide on Medicare for seniors considering their choices.
For other practical info on how the act may affect you (if you're a senior), the AARP is also a good guide.
Lastly, for a primer on the costs of Medicare, see The Century Foundation (full disclosure: the primer is written by Leif Wellington Haase, who is an Advisory Board Member of citizenJoe). To dig deep into the finances of the act, check out the Congressional Budget Office's report.
And opinions
Heritage, a conservative think tank, weighs in on the financial and logistical problems of the prescription drug act.
