I hate to watch our nationally elected administrative body; (Democrat, Republican, and Independent alike) act so fiscally irresponsible, sending the national debt to 10 trillion on or around 1/1/2009. Shoot, that's thirteen times our gross tax revenues from 2007. No wonder the world is devaluing the US dollar, drastically. We are all now struggling through a self imposed recession clamoring to do exactly as the radical Islamic thugs wish. Spend, spend, and spend.I think the Republican administration and Republican controlled congress overreacted to an implied imminent threat to America by Islamic radicals. Radical Islam is far more impotent to be an imminent threat to any non theocratic republic or sovereign nation. Islam will never replace Democracy, but Americans could very well bankrupt American Democracy.
